OLYMPIC LIFTING “OLY CLUB”
THURSDAY OLY CLUB
Every Thursday night at 6pm, we lift.
Our Olympic Lifting class is dedicated solely to the barbell and progressing with the big lifts.
The Snatch and The Clean and Jerk play a major role in our program and the athletic development benefits of training these lifts can be felt as much by a complete novice as they can for a seasoned barbell campaigner.
Techniques for all lifts are drilled relentlessly to ensure the quality movement patterns have been developed prior to adding load to the movement.
Knowledge is power in this game. Owner of The Chamber, Coach Chad spent 2 years training under the guidance of Michael Pileggi, owner of “Origins Weightlifting” to refine his art of coaching Olympic Weightlifting. He has now 10 years under his belt including coming 2nd in the 94 kg category WA state titles in 2016.
